MONTHLY EVENTS
FIRST SUNDAYS
Our choir, the ♪CCOP Singers♫, meet monthly on the first Sunday at 9:30am to practice and then perform at the 10:30am worship service.
SECOND SUNDAYS
We are blessed with the musical gifts of Guest Violinist Timothy Edwards on the second Sunday of each month, and Tim usually performs a duet with our own Mike Feltman on the keyboard.
THIRD SUNDAYS
Our Ministry Operations Team (board of directors) meets monthly on the third Sunday following our worship service. In June this monthly meeting is moved to the fourth Sunday due to Father’s Day. All members are invited to attend, and encouraged to contact the Moderator if you have an item that you would like placed on the agenda for the meeting. We are blessed with the beautiful voice of Rae Roberts who often sings for us on the Third Sundays.
FOURTH THURSDAYS OF THE MONTH
Parents, Friends & Families of Lesbians And Gays (PFLAG) Jacksonville meets monthly at CCOP MEETING 3/27/25 around 6:30pm – Check with Cindy Nobles or visit their website…
THIRD SATURDAY SOCIALS
We have reinstituted a CCOP tradition – dinner socials on the third Saturday of each month. We meet for dinner at a local restaurant, usually at 6:00PM, each month on the THIRD SATURDAY.
In October we cancel the Third Saturday Dinner because the Annual Congregational Meeting is the next day and includes a catered meal.
In December, we will have our Annual Christmas Potluck & Goofy Gift Exchange.
